A new reader may not realize that this site has evolved over the last twenty-one years. It began after the arrest of Sun Dawu and his brothers on May 27, 2003 and before the trial of Sun Dawu in November 2003.  To be specific,  a website was created on August 22, 2003.  To be more accurate, 50 different websites were created loosely on the ARPANET model.  If you are unaware of ARPANET then a definition is worthwhile. The Advance Research Projects Agency Network was the first wide-area packet-switching networtk with distributed control.  It meant that if a node were brought down then the network could go around it.  With respect to my websites if an address were brought down then others with different addresses and passwords would continue to function.  As a matter of fact, three of my 50 websites were brought down, but the others continued as usual.

The above image was archived on the Wayback Machine on September 06, 2003.  The name of the site was "M576L2C" on the Arts and Literature section of Webspawner.  You'll notice it does not have Sun Dawu's name in it in order to avoid censorship on the Chinese internet.  It changed the narrative on SUN Dawu whose own site was discontinued on June 1, 2003.  The author recognized him as a Confucian philosopher.  There are 18 captures of this page from September 06, 2003 to February 03, 2006 at the following address:

Another website was called "784568SM3".  The material on this site is both similar and different from the former.  The object is again to avoid censorship. If one site were objectionable then another site would pass.

With Sun Dawu's sites blocked by the State there were few pictures available to the public or press.  My sites filled that need. Many of the pictures I had personally taken taken prior to his arrest.

The "sundawu22" has only a single capture on November 22, 2008.  Its arrangement was typical. It linked to three of my other pages.  The first was the homepage of "dawusun" on February 05, 2008. The second was "M576L2C on February 03, 2006. The third (if you are not too tired) to  "sundawusun" on February 03, 2006. The different links for each page would ensure that the whole would not be compromised if a page was taken down.  Incidentally, I also had different email links.

First capture

The domain name of this website uses the Chinese language.  It was one of the first allowed by internet authorities. It was acquired by me from an Australian service. Later, it was transferred to Godaddy and used on an active site. A second domain name was also acquired. It was https://孙大午.cn (http://xn--rkr99kf0b.cn/. This is an actual Chinese domain name. It, too, was used on an active site at Godaddy roughly for the same period of time. Ironically, Sun Dawu had an English name on his site called http://www.sundawu.com while these sites had Chinese names.

Of course, in most cases the reader can explore the various pages on the site if they have been successfully scanned and saved.

The new sites duplicated material that appeared on another site at the following address: https://sundawu.ca.  They used a WYSIWIG format that was simple, but extremely frustrating especially with transference of materials designed in another program. Of course, there were links between the various programs.

It should be noted that the main site for the decade beginning 2010 was https://sundawu.ca. It was protected by SSL so one didn't need 50 sites anymore. SSL was added later to the other two sites.

The second capture of https://孙大午.com or non-SSL http://孙大午.com on December 14, 2014 actually transfers to https://sundawu.ca. This is rather puzzling for me except perhaps because I had a redirect on one item of the menu to https://sundawu.ca

However, the March 20, 2018 capture reverts back to the https://孙大午.com site. See the characteristic horizontal menu that developed later on. As you can see, the links to https://sundawu.ca are not in the menu, but below the menu which confirms my hypothesis with regard to the site which is captured.

An interesting item of the menu of https://孙大午.com on August 23, 2018 is the blog. It concerns the banning of the author's websites.

In 2003, the name 孙大午 was censored in China. It was one of about 250 names, words, and phrases.Today, the list consists of 10,000 plus items.

On this page the central picture is of Sun Dawu and the granddaughter of Sun Yatsen whom I met at Dawu City. The picture was taken and modified by the author. It is copyrighted.

There are several linkages in the menu to the https://sundawu.ca site.
